In Rwanda, One Acre Fund operates
under the name Tubura, serving over 2.8 million farmers in 2024.

security, increase productivity, and support the country’s agricultural
transformation agenda.

Position: Procurement Intern
Location: Kigali, Rwanda

What
You Will Do
As a Procurement Intern at One Acre
Fund, you will play a critical role in sourcing the goods and services needed
to support farmers and office operations. Your responsibilities will include:
1.
Conduct Market Research
- Identify reliable suppliers
- Compare pricing, service quality, and delivery
timelines
- Ensure procurement delivers value for money
2.
Execute Procurement Activities
- Prepare and manage Requests for Quotations (RFQs)
- Obtain competitive bids from suppliers
- Support supplier evaluation and selection
- Process procurement requests from Kigali and regional
offices
3.
Expand and Maintain Supplier Database
- Update records of active and potential suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance
- Strengthen the organization’s procurement ecosystem
4.
Track Delivery and Order Fulfillment
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams to confirm receipt of
goods
- Ensure all goods and services meet quality standards
This role is designed to help you

challenges and organizational systems.
Qualifications
To qualify, you must meet the
following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain,
Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Basic experience in procurement (internships,
attachments, or volunteer roles accepted)
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to analyze problems and propose practical
solutions
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work with diverse
teams
